The Pemba District Expansion

We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in The Euroza Foundation’s mission: the expansion into Pemba District as part of our Pilot Programme. This pivotal move marks the beginning of a new chapter, one filled with hope, growth, and community transformation.

In this first wave of expansion, we've warmly welcomed four vibrant communities into the Euroza family: Mabeta, Nkandala, Mukamuchale, and Mweene. Each of these communities embodies a spirit of resilience and a readiness for positive change.

A cornerstone of our initiative in Pemba is the establishment of Youth Sports Clubs in each community. These clubs are more than just about playing football; they're about building life skills, fostering equality, and nurturing a sense of unity. Boys and girls alike now have access to regular football activities, promoting both physical health and teamwork.

Our journey in Pemba District kicked off with an event that encapsulated the joy and community spirit we strive to foster. On Christmas Eve, we celebrated our district expansion with the inaugural Euroza - Pemba District Football Tournament. This event wasn't just a competition; it was a festival of community spirit, with all eight teams displaying skill, sportsmanship, and camaraderie as they competed for the Pemba Euroza Cup.

The establishment of these sports clubs is just the beginning. They lay the groundwork for a range of future activities integral to our pilot program. We're talking about vocational training, social enterprise projects, and civic education initiatives – all aimed at empowering the youth of Pemba District.

Stay tuned as we continue this exciting journey in Pemba District. We're committed to unlocking the potential of its youth, fostering sustainable development, and nurturing community-led change. With your support, we can make a lasting impact, not just in Pemba but across Zambia.

Together, let's transform the future, one community at a time.
